The name Katalyst with a K, was chosen after a great amount of thought.  The meaning of catalyst, is who we are and what we do.

When I first started Katalyst in 2006, every person involved with the company had a name starting with K – Kimberly, Karen, Kirsten, Katherine, Kristin, Kate, Kayla and Karla.

The Change Management part may seem official, but it really isn’t.  Change Management has both business and personal applications and really just means it is a managed process for ensuring that change is created, implemented and monitored for effectiveness.

So when you put the two together, it really just means that we want to be the ones to help you manage the changes in your life.

The logo itself is two things in one – it represents us being the missing piece that can help you. The people in the circle represent community, making changes together, which is where change really happens.

See, now it doesn’t sound so scary does it? We will do it together.
